2004 Ushers In Great New Travel Insurance Products Reports InsureMyTrip.com
(Warwick, RI February 24, 2004) -Online travel insurance provider InsureMyTrip.com announces a number of new travel insurance products which have just been released that will greatly benefit the traveling consumer. These new products provide comprehensive trip cancellation protection while maintaining competitive pricing strategies for consumer adoption and affordability.
San Diego based CSA Travel Protection has launched two new products, "Web Direct" and "Web Direct Extended." These package policies provide trip cancellation and interruption along with a full complement of coverage including, baggage, baggage delay, travel delay, accidental death and flight insurance. Medical limits of $50,000 per policy and Medical Evacuation limits of $250,000 per policy compliment each new plan.
The fundamental difference between the two plans is that the Financial Default benefit and a Pre-Existing Medical Condition Waiver are included in the Extended plan and not available in the standard plan. The plans are competitively priced.
Travelex Insurance Services of Omaha Nebraska has totally revamped its two most popular plans, "TraveLite" and "Travel Plus." These trip cancellation package plans have a host of increased benefits. Some of the most notable are a new, longer 21 day window from trip deposit to date of purchase for inclusion of Financial Default protection and the Pre-Existing Medical Condition Waiver. Medical and Medical Evacuation limits were also increased to $50,000 per person for the "Lite" plan and $500,000 for the "Plus" plan. Once again, pricing is very competitive.
