I didn't have to use the plan, so it is hard for me to know if I would recommend it. If I ever have to file a claim or contact the customer service team, then I would be able to know whether or not I would recommend it. Right now, it was the best coverage for the price. I am willing to pay a little more for top medical coverage.

when you call they act like it’s a problem they want to tell you how many times you called l wouldn’t call if my issue was resolved in a timely manner each time I’ve called my claim is being processed I sent over supporting paper work 11/18 was told on 11/25 additional documents were needed they didn’t tell me I figured it out myself and allow 15 days for processing they really mean allow 30 days for processing when a person has a surgery what more needs to be discussed give them a refund it’s already nerve racking enough you didn’t take 30 days to receive my money oh and the customer service rep Andrew is terrible no type of customer service or compassion you are clearly in the wrong field sir never again will I use this company and will tell all my friends and members of my travel group the same

I bought the cancel for any reason rider for 2 trips that might have been canceled and they were. AXA provided the specific information I needed to send them, did so, and they responded in a timely manner upholding their insurance agreement.

Thank you for the review. It can be quite disappointing to have to cancel a trip but we are happy to know your claims experience went well and you were able to reschedule the trip. We appreciate the opportunity to provide coverage for you and look forward to providing travel protection for all of your future travels.
We had to change some parts of our reservation and there was no way to contact the AXA customer service to alert them. If we had had a problem while on the trip perhaps you wouldn't have covered us since there was a change. You should make it easier to contact someone in the event of changes or questions.

In most cases, a policy can be amended if InsureMyTrip or the insurance provider is notified before the scheduled departure date. InsureMyTrip is open and available by telephone and email Monday- Friday 7am - Midnight EST and Weekends from 9am - 9pm EST. Our phone number is 800-487-4722 and our email address is [email protected]. AXA Assistance USA is open and available Monday-Friday from 8am - 7pm EST. Their phone number is 888-647-4295 and email address is [email protected]. If possible, it is best to call InsureMyTrip so that we can quote the requested changes and advise if there is an increase in premium. In the instance in which neither InsureMyTrip nor AXA Assistance USA is open, please send an email requesting the specific changes you would like to make. The time stamp of the email will be honored. Please note, policies cannot be amended after the trip departure.

Fortunately for myself nothing bad happened to my trip. This policy offered great piece of mind, and I felt better knowing that if anything were to happen, I would have help. It's a great price as well.
