Ive only had to file a trip insurance claim once due to a health issue. That "1" time convinced me that if you are investing in an expensive trip (everyone has their own definition of expensive) then it's worth buying insurance. Life happens. Best to have it and not use it than not have it and have regret. This trip I did not file a claim but felt good that I had it "just in case"

Our trip to Peru was cancelled because of the violence and destruction to the runways and transportation within the country. Our own country advised not to travel to this destination until the situation was safe. We were denied a refund and were only given a credit for future travel. I spent nearly $1,000.00 on the insurance. Even our travel agent in Peru gave us a 100% refund and I would use them again. I would not use this company and the travel agent even recommended Imsuremy trip. Extremely disappointed.
