AIG Travel Travel Guard MedEvac Plan

The AIG Travel Travel Guard MedEvac Plan covers single trips up to 365 days in length. It offers coverage such as emergency medical evacuation, emergency medical coverage, security evacuation and Accidental Death & Dismemberment benefits.

The Travel Guard MedEvac Plan will provide assistance if you are hospitalized during your trip and it is recommended that you be transported to a close by, more adequately equipped hospital, or in some cases a hospital close to home. AIG Travel will assist with making the medical transport arrangements needed. Also, there are 24/7 assistance services that can be helpful prior to and during your trip.

This plan also has optional add-ons available if you would like to tailor the coverage to your trip. You can upgrade your baggage protection limit to help if if your bags are lost and your baggage delay limit for reimbursement of purchased necessities if your bags are delayed for more than the listed number of hours. This option is avialable to residents of most states.

Also, if you wish to expand your covered medical reasons on the plan, you may be interested in purchasing the adventure sports coverage. Accidental injury due to activities such as mountaineering or participation in professional athletic events may be covered if the adventure sports coverage option is purchased. This option is avialable to residents of most states.

The AIG Travel Travel Guard MedEvac Plan is available for purchase only before your Departure Date. If you have departed for your trip, do not purchase the plan because you will not have any coverage.
