The TravelSafe Basic plan is the most economical of the two in this family of plans, and may be ideal if you are traveling on a budget. It includes all the standard comprehensive travel insurance benefits that may help to reimburse you for any unexpected costs due to travel concerns such as cancellation, interruption, baggage loss or delay, or travel delays.

The Basic plan also has emergency medical and emergency medical evacuation coverage. These benefits can help to fill gaps in your primary health insurance plan if you suffer a covered illness or injury while traveling.

Additionally, this plan allows you to add optional benefits that tailor the plan to your travel needs. For instance, you can add rental car collision insurance. You can also add Flight Only Accidental Death as well as an Extended Personal Property Pac, if eligible. This Pac will enhance the baggage coverage by removing exclusions for professional and occupational equipment and some electronics.
