I wish Insuremytrip would have a program/incentive for returning customers where discounts are applied for future trips. I understand the importance of insurance should something happen but the cost of a 10K trip is just out of line with exposure.

Unfortunately, insurance laws make discounting insurance illegal, so there is no way for us to put a program like this into action. Thank you for your feedback on the policy. For residents of Maryland who purchase the RoamRight Essential plan, the exclusion for Pre-Existing Condition will be waived provided:
1) The policy is purchased within 21 days after making the initial deposit/payment for your trip; and
2) You insure 100% of the cost of all travel arrangements that are subject to cancellation penalties or restrictions by the travel supplier; and
3) You or the individual with the Pre-Existing Condition are medically fit to travel when the policy is purchased; and
4) The booking for the trip is the first and only booking for the travel period and destination.Sep 29,2015

Every plan is a good plan until you need to use it. That is when the quality of the plan and company administrator shows its true colors. Thankfully we didn't need to file a claim with April Travel Protection, so that meant we all had a great trip with no problems or health issues.
