Overall solid plan and would recommend. The one item that I thought fell short was the daily $150 for expenses if delayed. For me, in France, it would have been impossible to come even close to that amount. Limit of $2000 was good but daily was low.

Berkshire Hathaway Travel Protection ExactCare
Long time user of insure my trip and this was my first time filing a claim. My husband had to go to urgent care while hiking in Iceland. I was lazy and filed it 7 months after our trip. The process wasn’t completely clear but the person I spoke to on the phone was very helpful and walked me through the process and I was paid in about 4 weeks.

Very expensive. Not sure why my Medicare wouldn’t cover the hospitals if we got Covid. Crazy to pay 563 for both of us.

Nationwide Mutual Insurance Universal Cruise
In these pandemic times, it is imperative to carry a good travel insurance policy before venturing out in the world. This Nationwide policy fit the bill for my first cruise in two years. I use insuremytrip.com for every cruise or land vacation and have been pleased with the policies offered as well as with the few claims I have had to submit.
