I was pleased to find this travel insurance available. It was a stretch to pay for but reasonable since we had arranged an airbnb for part of the trip. At our octogenarian ages it seemed necessary. Eight weeks prior to our trip I was thrown from my bicycle and sustained a broken elbow. Emergency surgery and the countdown to departure for the next bicycle tour began and the relief I felt at knowing that we had insurance should I not be able to participate was every bit worth the cost of the insurance. I did, in fact, participate in that following tour and was grateful I was healing as fast as I did. Not everyone might have been as fortunate.

I am actually quite upset with this because I sent HTH an email inquiring whether I could get some non-urgent medical treatment as a part of my plan, and they never bothered to answer even though I received an automated email from them saying that they received my inquiry. I checked my spam box too to make sure I didn’t miss any emails from them. Very upsetting.

While working with providers HTH has already contracted with can make the process of getting care even easier, customers are not limited to using Providers within our network. I really can’t make a true review, because we have yet to have an opportunity to use it. However, we have gotten an email from the car rental company stating there was a large scratch on the back bumper. We never saw that, never noticed it, and have no idea if it was there when we got the car. So, is AIG going to cover that damage if we are charged with it?
