My brother got ill so I had to reschedule my trip. Every other vendor, flight, rental car, hotel refunded my money. Nationwide refused. I have my homeowners, auto and rental property coverages with Nationwide. I thought that they were a better company than this. FYI: I'm going this week to my brother's funeral.

It is always a good idea to have insurance when venturing into new places alone. I'm glad that i was able to be covered in several different ways like with health coverage and rental. thanks so much it is nice to travel with less worries knowing that you are covered.

I liked the options presented prior to purchase of the coverage. We do not need to make a claim so in retrospect I might want to consider less coverage and save $.

Claim was submitted on Sept. 22, 2022. It is still open ( or at least not paid in full or in part or declined). We had to cancel our trip due to an injury to my wife's ankle requiring extensive surgery. I have submitted everything they asked for (with much difficulty due to their requiring everything submitted electronically - not good at scan/file/find/ attach). Finally asked for fax #. Fax docs to them and they claim they didn't get them or lost them. Last contact was 10/26 /22. Rep (George Garcia) is very hard to understand when I did speak with him by phone. Last contact he was to speak with his boss about something or other, but I never heard back from him. HELP!!

We purchased this insurance in April to cover a trip we were making in December and wanted coverage in the event that weather or health issues forced us to cancel. As it turned out we had no problems and did not file any claims. We have purchased trip insurance through insure my trip.com several times and only had to file a claim once.

Was extremely disappointed that we did not get a partial refund for the 3 out of 5 says we were supposed to stay. Hurricane ian was approaching & even if there wasn’t a mandatory evacuation at the time, we didn’t want to wait as we were on an island & know how bad the bridges can get. Being on a island during a hurricane is NOT a good idea..I was hoping to get SOMETHING back. Obviously I wasn’t looking for the whole thing. Would appreciate you looking at this again. It truly was not fair!
