Comprehensive plans offer the most benefits, including Trip Cancellation and Trip Interruption. These plans provide the best protection for the investment you have made in your trip.
We didn’t need to use the insurance this cruise, but with the unknown of COVID we had the peace of mind that we had the coverage if needed. We have had to file claims in the past and always had excellent experience with their customer service reps and the timeliness of their responses.

One important factor that makes this plan attractive to us is that we still can buy the plan just before we pay the last payment right before the trip start to qualify for the pre-existing health condition coverage. Where as most other plans, we have to buy the plan within 15 days from the first trip deposit. With this flexibility, this plan is still competitive with most other plans out there.
I recommend it to those who has pre-existing health condition.

Insure My Trip and the C&F Travel Insured International Worldwide Trip Protector plan were exactly what we needed for peace of mind on this extended and therefore, costly trip to the UK. It covered exactly what we were looking for and gave us peace of mind. We had no need to make a claim this time, but we have made a claim with C& F Travel previously and it went very smoothly. Prior to traveling, when we needed to make a date change and increase the insured amount on this UK trip, the customer service was prompt, efficient and very helpful.

The real test of insurance comes when you need to use it, so not sure this review is worth too much. We didn't need to use it, luckily. It did give us peace of mind, and the website made it easy to choose a plan at a price point we were comfortable with.

We needed to cancel our trip due to an immediate family member's unexpected illness. We filed a claim with Nationwide and were satisfied with the coverage, payment and resolution of the claim; albeit the process took much longer than Nationwide's stated timeline for settling claims However, we fully understand and anticipated that given the many challenges travel insurance companies are presently experiencing with the ongoing pandemic, the process would be delayed. Without this coverage we would have incurred a substantial loss. We are very pleased with the the coverage and resolution of our claim with Nationwide and will utilize them again in the future and recommend them to other travelers.
