The process for filling a claim if downright horrific. They make it SO hard that I ended up not finishing it.
I have two more trips booked and had purchased another policy for my upcoming trip. Needless to say, I canceled it .

Half way through my trip, I decided to extend my vacation. I waited on hold for a half hour before leaving a message to have someone contact me with information on what I needed to do to continue my coverage and no one ever called me back. I'd be hesitant to use this company in the future as I'm not sure if anyone would get back to me if I actually needed help. Thankfully, I had no issues on my trip and the insurance wasn't needed, but it was a bit frustrating being ignored when trying to give the company more business.

My husband got COVID during our trip to Mexico so we could not return on time and had to change our air tickets. This plan covered all fees to change the tickets . It was very easy to file a claim and the claim was processed very quickly.

We never had to use it so I can't speak about how well it worked, but we reviewed what it covered before we went and it would have covered the worst case scenario of pretty much everything we came across but never actually happened, so overall, we're completely satisfied. The only way we could be MORE satisfied is if something DID happen and we HAD to use it, but I think I like it better this way.

I don't know what to say here. I think the plan was probably fine. I think it was somewhat gray in areas like what if one of my family had tested positive for Covid and couldn't go, would there have been any coverage for that? What about the Governor of Hawaii asking people to not come to Hawaii, and all the hoops jumped through to get there, what if we would have had a hic up on that, and not been able to come, would that have been covered? Anyway, it is done now, and I don't know how to review something that I didn't use. I guess it was good I had it, but I am sure there are a lot of weasel clauses in the policy.
