I just think was a little unfair that my son who is 35 and I'm 68 and we wanted to extend our insurance for 7 more days and I had to pay a $175 more I think that is unfair.

Easy to purchase online and coverage was laid out pretty simply. My only reservation was whether I would have had trouble filing a claim if I had needed to, for the reason of the 2 week (or 15 day) requirement. Upon purchase, the online page explained that coverage was reduced if trip was paid more than 15 days before departure. I didn't understand why this made a difference, and this stipulation made it difficult for me to answer accurately. Someone else made the arrangements more than 15 days beforehand, but I paid for it much later.

There are time sensitive coverages within your policy that are only available if you purchase that policy within 15 days of your Initial Trip Payment, so before you purchase the policy, we advise you of the limitations. These include but are not limited to the Pre-existing Condition Waiver, Financial Default and Cancel for Any Reason.
