I travel a lot and I use this service exclusively. When I travel with Grand Circle they try to get me to purchase their insurance. It is hundreds of dollars more. Due to a medical emergency, I had to file a claim once. AIG was fast and fair. I highly recommend them. Just got back from my 6th trip to Vietnam. Insured of course with AIG. Peace of mind at a reasonable price

I’m glad we didn’t need to use it, but I felt better knowing we had it. It wasn’t expensive, and let us not worry about winter weather spoiling our leaving on time, or keeping us delayed with no way to pay for extra nights.

The plan met my needs, although the real test would have been if I filed a claim....thankfully that need did not arise. Your website is fantastic in how it is set up to offer specific choices of the type of coverage that I seek. I recommend it to all of my friends and colleagues who travel.

The plan coverage to cost ratio was great. I did make one small claim for about $175. Unfortunately it took FIVE months for them to process and deposit my claim into my bank account. FIVE months. I have 27 correspondences with them via and 9 phone call records on my phone. I can't even tell you how many questions (emails) went unanswered. I finally had to employ the assistance of a claims specialist from InsureMyTrip.com to look into this. Coincidentally just days later I received my reimbursement. Just a little communication from IMG would've eased the process and kept me from wondering what was going on. I received so much mis-information from them it's not even funny. I felt like I was a supervisor there who needed to constantly remind the staff to follow-up and reiterate repeated information over and over. I booked another plan for the current trip that I am on and it was NOT with IMG.

We do want you and your fellow customers to be aware that InsureMyTrip offers a Customer Advocate Program. Customer Advocates are representatives assigned to assist customers who experience issues after filing a claim. Requesting a Customer Advocate is as simple as calling 800-487-4722 or emailing [email protected], explaining the events which resulted in a claim, and the challenges you are facing.
Did not have to use the insurance but was comfortable that I had if I did need it. Price was affordable as well for something I did not expect to use but needed for protection. Thanks so much.
