Overall, this seemed like great coverage for a very reasonable price. While, happily, I ended up not needing the insurance this time around, I did file a claim in the past with this same coverage and they were great about covering the entire cost of the trip. I would highly recommend this trip insurance.

Thank you for your review. The premiums are based on the age of the travelers, the length of the trip and the cost of the trip. Premiums tend to be between 4-10% of the total trip cost insured. We didn't use the plan but knowing I had it was peace of mind. One of my family members suffered a fall during the trip and almost had to go to the hospital, and it didn't freak us out knowing it would be covered. Luckily it wasn't necessary and we could go on with no further problems.
We contacted the plan regarding it and the information we received was kind of generic, no specific place or doctor to contact, what is good in an aspect (you free to chose) but considering you are in another country, language, etc. we felt a little "abandoned". It would have been great to talk to someone in the country we were and having some "inside" instructions of what would be the best course of action.
All in all I will use it again, now knowing the limitations what will make me get better informed prior to travel.
