Unfortunately I did have an incident where I had to contact the insurance upon my arrival in Italy. Their response was immediate and made me feel that I had resources available to me. I could not have asked for better service or a more helpful response as well as prompt handling of my claim once received.

While I've purchased trip insurance for many years, this is the first time (thankfully!) I've had to make a claim, thanks to Hurricane Dorian. Easy online claims process and very quick response.

I did not have to file a claim this time but I did back in May 2019. Claim was handled promptly and fairly. I have three more cruises planned and will use Generali Global Assistance Preferred again.
