PATHETIC..Absolutely no contact from the company for about a month after submitting my claim..Yes, my claim was denied, and that was the proper decision, but the lies, unreturned phone calls and misinformation were inexcusable..The total lack of communication only exacerbated the horrific service..I would NEVER use this co. again, simply due to their apathetic, indifference and abject failure to open a line of communication..Try and reach a manager..That is a joke, as they undoubtedly, hide under their desks, so as to avoid speaking with their customer..AVOID at all cost

Fortunately, on our current trip we had no reason to use our trip insurance. However we did feel comfortable with our protection because of a past experience when we did need our insurance coverage and the service and processing of our claim was handled quickly and professionally. We will continue to purchase Generali trip insurance for all of our foreign travel.

Thank you for your review. The premiums of the policies are determined by the insurance providers. The premiums are based on the age of the travelers, the length of the trip and the cost of the trip. As travelers get older, it can cause the premiums to increase. At this time, due to insurance laws, travel insurance cannot be discounted ore rebated. Like all other types of insurance, such as auto and home, once a policy has ended the policy is deemed used and premium nonrefundable, whether there was a claim filed or not.
