I did not need to submit a claim, however I felt confident that everything I needed was covered. The coverage was explained well, and I really appreciated the ease of changing / adding additional items (days, hotels, etc.) as we continued to plan. The agents at Insuremytrip we extremely helpful and knowledgeable, always easy to contact, and explained everything well. There was never any pressure and all questions were always answered.

Due to a tragic medical situation with my sister (who is in a coma) I had to cancel my trip. Generali helped me with the cancellation fee with minimal hassle and an easy process. When one is grieving, such kind assistance is extremely valuable. I will definitely buy this plan again. At time of purchase, it was the best combination of benefits for the money, which is why I chose them.

My only comment is that the purchase page should give a chance to list multiple countries. It only lets you pick one country and says "if multiple countries, then select the first one you're visiting". Insurance is all about feeling covered and I would feel better if all countries I was planning to visit were listed explicitly on the policy.

I had to cancel my month-long Mongolia trip due to a medical emergency that happened 10 days before departure.
I provided Generali with ALL the medical and airfare documents they requested. They claim that they need more documents but don't spell out which ones. I've provided all airfare proof of purchase and all airfare refunds due to the cancellation. My MD filled out their forms and attached all the reports about my medical exams during the emergency.
Generali does not answer emails. Getting a hold of a human being on the phone is impossible -- talking to bots and then disconnects.
I bought the most expensive policy + service and I receive near zero response.
I have had no problems with other premier trip insurance policies from other companies.
I would not recommend Generali to anyone.

Thankfully we had no reason to submit a claim. Others on our trip had trouble with lost or late luggage delivery due to severe weather and flooding in Switzerland, but fortunately we were unaffected. I'm glad that we had the coverage because we easily could have been impacted and then would have needed the insurance. I will definitely consider purchasing C&F insurance before my next international trip.

Bought this very basic plan due having an elderly mother who had been in hospice care for months. She passed away 2 days before the trip was to begin. We filed the claim, provided the requested materials, and a check was deposited in less than 4 weeks. Very easy to talk to and very sympathetic to my situation. Would not hesitate to buy from this company again.
