It's all good until it's time to file a claim. Then they want to say they don't cover illness. My son (who I had insured) got sick on our cruise ship and now ArchIns is saying they aren't the primary. Our medical doesn't cover out of the country which is the reason we purchased travel insurance. This company is a complete joke and I'll never purchase through them again.

The plan that you purchased provides excess medical coverage, which means a claim for any illness or medical treatment must be filed with your primary medical provider first. This way, we have proof of any payment from your primary provider and are able to reimburse the remaining expenses. If your primary insurance provider does not provide coverage for this type of claim, we would still need proof of their $0 payment.
We have also sent you an email outlining the other additional documentation we need in order to complete your claim.

This was my first time purchasing this type of insurance for my child. I had many questions and the travel representatative was so helpful answering all of them. Thankfully we did not have a need to use our plan this year...but I was not asked to review the plan last year when it saved us. My husband had a heart attack on our second day and had to have open heart surgery near London. This plan worked with the hospital as the primary insurer. I was thousands of miles from home, terrified of my husbands condition and Insuremytrip assisted with the economic issues so I could deal with everything else. My husband is good and we got to take & complete our trip this year.
