If you read most reviews, they are written by people who didn't file claims. After spraining both knees and ankles, this plan paid a total of $95 for crutches and nothing for small additional taxi and uber costs, since I couldn't walk. The rest of my medical was paid for by New Zealand. When I called their service number, I left a message and didn't get a call back. I finally called their emergency number and was told to go to an ER. They gave me an address, which turned out to be a doctor's office (not open at 5 a.m.). The exclusions in this policy/company are ridiculous: Charge the maximum, pay the very minimum at all costs. I would avoid them like the plague in the future and will share this information as broadly as possible.

Customer Advocates are representatives assigned to assist customers who experience issues after filing a claim. Requesting a Customer Advocate is as simple as calling 800-487-4722 or emailing [email protected], explaining the events which resulted in a claim, and the challenges you are facing.
Thankfully, we did not have to file a claim, so it's hard to write a balanced review. But I thought the price we paid was fair for the coverage that was offered.

Easy online enrollment. Very pleased by coverage cost. In some cases, similar policies were nearly twice the cost.
