I had to cancel my trip due to an accident and the plan covered my expenses.
However, the claims administrator for JH, Seven Corners was not a company that I would like to deal with again. Their website and processes are archaic which resulted in many phone calls to follow up. There is zero transparency since you only talk to a customers service rep who knows nothing about the claim. Also, if you are asked for additional information, the SLA timing starts all over upon receiving requested information.
I finally received an email saying that they are sending a check so I'm crossing my fingers that it arrives in the mail.

We do want you and your fellow customers to be aware that InsureMyTrip offers a Customer Advocate Program. Customer Advocates are representatives assigned to assist customers who experience issues after filing a claim. Requesting a Customer Advocate is as simple as calling 800-487-4722 or emailing [email protected], explaining the events which resulted in a claim, and the challenges you are facing.
We use this plan for every cruise - I wish there was an annual plan.
On several occasions the ports changed and this is covered on this plan.
If we miss a port, pre paid tours are also covered.

We didn't have any problems on this trip, but on a previous one we had a baggage delay and had to buy clothing, and they reimbursed us promptly for that.

Fortunately we did not have to use the policy. I did have some questions about coverage before hand and was given clear answers as to what was covered. I needed to make a policy change and it was handled promptly by Travelex. Will definitely look at this company again for future trips.

For work-related reasons we had to cancel an expensive and long-planned trip to Asia. After conferring with some representatives to clarify a couple of questions I gathered the required documents and submitted the claim entirely online. we received our full reimbursement check without issue within 10 days. I wouldn't hesitate to use Travelex again
