Comprehensive plans offer the most benefits, including Trip Cancellation and Trip Interruption. These plans provide the best protection for the investment you have made in your trip.
I did not need the insurance, which is the best option!. If I had, it did cover a pre-existing condition and that was what I was looking for. Looked like a great policy. I am a travel agent and sell a different policy. I purchased this one. Seemed like a better price with pre-existing condition coverage. Happy that I did not need to use it!

Tried to get through to someone when delta was late getting us to our connecting flight and it left without us. No one answered, number one representative and number two were busy. Poor service, would not waste money on this company.

All insurance companies are bogus. Now I know about trip delay. They don't reimburse you for anything unless the flight was delayed 6 hours or more. We misses our transfer flight and delayed our tour and got nothing back.

Although we respect your opinion, it is important for travelers to understand that not every situation will be covered by your policy. This is why we present the entire Certificate of Insurance for you to review prior to purchasing the policy.
According to your Certificate of Insurance, the Nationwide Mutual Insurance Essential provided you with the following coverage:
"TRIP DELAY"
"The Company will reimburse You for Covered Expenses on a one-time basis, up to the Maximum Benefit shown on the Confirmation of Coverage, if You are delayed, while coverage is in effect, en route to or from the Trip for six (6) or more
hours due to a defined Hazard.
Covered Expenses:
(a) Any Additional Expenses incurred;
(b) An Economy Fare from the point where the You ended Your Covered Trip to a destination where You can catch up to the Covered Trip; or
(c) A one-way Economy Fare to return You to Your originally scheduled return destination."

Each time they promised to answer within 10 days. they took exactly 10 days and then asked for more info. Calls to specific person who responded were not returned even though I left 8 messages over 8 days.

It appears that you originally submitted your claim back on 01/06/2019 and, as you state, there was a lot of back and forth going on between you and the Crum and Forster Travel Insured claims department.
Usually the company is able to settle claims within 30 days. However, there is an occasional delay in the process.
