I purchased trip insurance while booking my trip through the airlines website. I thought the price of the insurance was high but given the cost of the trip I felt it was important. A friend told me about insuremytrip - With insuremytrip I was able to find more comprehensive coverage at a fraction of the cost. Given the lower rate I was leary, however my friend had to use the insurance due to a medical emergency and everything was covered as promised.

I never take a trip without obtaining insurance. However, I usually get CFAR (
CANCEL for any reason) For this trip unfortunately it was cost prohibitive.
