Comprehensive plans offer the most benefits, including Trip Cancellation and Trip Interruption. These plans provide the best protection for the investment you have made in your trip.
As I say in all these reviews, it's really not possible to do a review if you are not filing the claim. The test of insurance is how easily and completely they pay out what they say they will. Thankfully I had no need to file a claim so I have no idea whether or not it was a good purchase

My son had a tooth abscess which required root cancel treatment. The 'dental' coverage did not cover this. The customer service representatives were extremely slow in handing my claim. I would not recommend.

Very pleased with this plan - my son fell ill the day before we were supposed to leave and we had to cancel everything - the plan reimbursed our airline ticket penalties and non-refundable hotel promptly and completely.

We didn't have to use this, but knowing we had it added a layer of protection and ease of mind if we did. Too many people think they don't need trip insurance (credit card benefits don't always cover what you need), but it could make the difference in a great trip or one that turns into a disaster, both physically and financially. (I do not work in the insurance industry.)
