Became a first time cruiser September 2019 and was offered the travel insurance thru the cruise line at a very high rate, but not much coverage. Did some research and found IMG on Insuremytrip.com. For two people, I paid a very reasonable price and had coverage for any reason, should I had to cancel my trip. I would recommend IMG to anyone who travels and wants to be covered completely with a reputable company and at a decent price.

This insurance was reasonable and competitive in price, and provided the needed coverage. However, when our total trip amount dropped substantially well before the trip date, due to a reduction in ticket prices, the company was totally unwilling to adjust our insurance price accordingly. We were forced to insure our trip for twice the needed amount. I realize that information is buried in their fine print, but we did not appreciate the lack of understanding and flexibility the company operates under. I would never use this company for my travel needs again.

We can understand that you would not be pleased with the response. Unfortunately, it is not the decision of InsureMyTrip, but it is based on the wording on page 1 of your policy certificate.
"All premium is non-refundable after a ten (10) day review period. In the event the premium paid for coverage is less than the required premium for coverage, benefits will be paid in direct proportion of the actual amount paid to the required premium due."
You are certainly able to request changes to your policy any time prior to your departure date, but a refund would not be provided if the change resulted in a decrease in premium.

After filing a claim with our primary health insurance company and upon receiving their decision and converge, we forwarded everything, i.e., the health provider's bills, the payment by us of the bills, the documents related to the services and payments by the primary, to our secondary insurance company, namely, the Generali Global Assistance Premium Program.
After their review, they made a fair determination of our coverage with them, and sent us a timely check. We were pleased with the process and outcome. Thank You.

Glad I didn't need it. But glad we had it. Sales lady was knowledgable, courteous and fast. Much cheaper than using insurance offered by cruise company (with less coverage).

A bit slow but A+ after it got underway. Courteous and prompt with all messages. Doctor was pessimistic regarding payment but why would one buy insurance if not expecting payment? I am impressed; once documents were in, payment received.
