I found this plan to be an excellent price for the amount of coverage provided. The only negative with my plan was that I paid additional premium to remove the deductible, but the one time I went to the doctor I still had to pay out of pocket because it qualified as private insurance.

Thank you for your feedback on the policy. The large majority of travel insurance claims are handled on a reimbursement basis. A travel medical plan with no coinsurance, and a $0 deductible would still likely require the traveler to pay the medical expenses out of pocket.Mar 26,2015

Medical insurance while traveling abroad, like most insurance, is something you know you need, but hope you don't have to use. Fortunately I didn't, but I felt comfortable with the coverage I had should the need have arisen. You purchase coverage for peace of mind.
