We needed to cancel our trip at the last minute for medical reasons. We sent the claim on Friday, July 20th the claim was logged into the system on Monday, July 23rd and processed with the check mailed on July 26th. We received the check for the full amount of the claim on Monday, July 30th. The claim was processed expeditiously and professionally with minimal forms.

I needed insurance to take my 83 year old mother on a trip through Canada since Medicare would not be an insurance option. The service representative was excellent and gave me peace of mind knowing that it was there is needed. We did not need it, but it was valuable peace of mind.

Always buy trip insurance but have never used it. This trip was the closest to using it because of the death of a family member of a traveling companion. They did not however cancel their trip, however, just postponed the funeral. I have heard of too many issues people have, so I always like to be covered with a high medical policy since my husband and I are in that senior category.

We didn't need to submit a claim for this trip, but on our last trip, our luggage was delayed for five days, so we had to go out and buy some replacement clothing. We used the same company on that trip, and they were quick to reimburse us for our expenses once we submitted the claim with receipts.
