We had to cancel our trip on 3 days notice because my brother was hospitalized with a severe GI bleed on June 8, 2015. When I called the Travel Insured number to inform them, the woman was very sympathetic and helpful, immediately emailing me all the claim forms. Eventually when I sent them all the claims forms Travel Insured mailed me a check for the entire amount of the trip.

Simple logic: When you do not have to claim the plan is ideal. The true test is filing a claim. I have never had to claim so I am satisfied.
