I would not want to travel without some protection, very glad I didn't need it. However the specific plan used was recommended by a friend who did need to file a claim..

We did not have occasion to test the coverage, but from my pre-trip investigation it seemed to give the best coverage for the cost compared with other listed policies. May I never have the need to find out!

InsureMyTrip is outstanding! I travel abroad frequently and recently learned how critical it is to have medical coverage & repatriation insurance. This should be advertised MUCH more to travelers since normal American health coverage is not enough. Luckily I didn't need it this time, but... I'm a professor who knew a college student that sadly lost his life while studying abroad -- without repatriation insurance, his poor parents would have lost $10,000 or more! THANK YOU for this great site - I will always go to your site.

Did not have to use the plan but for the very affordable price, it felt very good knowing we had it and is was available if needed. I have already recommended you to several others taking trips. Granted, our insurance was likely more affordable because we only went from Missouri to Florida....but still great to have!
