Every plan is great until you need to use it. Fortunately, we didn’t need to use it, so I can’t judge how good the plan is.
I am unhappy, however, that I am unable to leave the question about recommending the plan blank. The ‘yes’ box was already checked & I couldn’t remove it. I guess I could have changed it to a ‘no’. That wouldn’t have made the surveyors happy.

The plan offered the coverage I wanted at a competitive price. Since I didn't have to make a claim, I can't comment on how well the insurance company would have responded. I've used Insure My Trip several times to buy travel insurance and I like the convenience of being able to readily compare policies.

We are very satisfied with the way our claim was handled. My only complaint is that it was extremely slow. If a new document was requested, it would take 15 business days before action took place. It would be wonderful if you could check the status of your claim online as opposed to making phone calls. Our settlement was extremely fair. Hopefully we'll never have to file another claim!!!

My vacation was unique and I did not see coverage for it on the list of plans. I was trying to get coverage for a week long sailing trip (not a cruise). So I called to get a quote and the rep I talked to was very helpful. I got the coverage I needed. Fortunately, I did not need to use it.

We had to cancel 1 ticket, because of a sick animal that I believe is not included as a condition to cancel. Plan does not include cancel for any reason.
