I read a ton of terrible reviews online about other trip insurance companies before settling on John Hancock. I ended up having to file a claim and the coverage, communication, resolution etc. were all outstanding!

This is the second time I purchased this plan. The first time we had a medical situation with a family member that caused us to cancel our trip. They processed the claim and reimbursed our costs promptly.

I mainly needed coverage for emergency medical coverage. Comparing to all others for just medical alone, the price was not much different. This comprehensive coverage gave me the peace of mind within a reasonable price range.

We had a terrible extended family illness and had to cancel our trip. They sent us the forms and gave us good direction regarding what was needed for the claim. We mailed the documentation to them on December 6. They approved the claim and had the check in the mail to us on December 29th. We are very pleased with this company and will use them again when we rebook the trip.
