We did not need to make a claim, but family traveling with us had to cancel and did file a claim. Nationwide's call center representative gave misleading information that our family's claim would be covered. After submitting the claim it was denied. It wasn't until we later appealed that Nationwide offered coverage.

We were taking 17 people on a week-long cruise so it was imperative that we have coverage in case something were to happen to interrupt or interfere with one of all of our vacation plans.
