In business since 1926, Nationwide focuses on providing the best possible service for its customers. Nationwide travel insurance plans offer a range of innovative benefits for a variety of travel needs.
Greatly anticipating the day that affordable insurance coverage is possible to everyone. This will only be accomplished by free intra-state commerce that is offered by this type of business model. Thank you.

I traveled from Maryland to Alaska and Canada with my parents who are in the late 70's and both have health issues. Whether I travel with them or not I now always purchase health insurance in case I have to drop everything and take care of them. Thankfully we had no incidents on this trip, but I always use Insure My Trips, read the reviews and get advice from the agents. I know people think it can be expensive, but on another cruise to Alaska while we were out a man killed his wife and the cruise ended. Those people did get a refund for the cruise line, but there are so many other expenses. Hopefully having this insurance would have helped with all the other incurred costs. You just never know. 10% or a little more is worth it, or at least to me.

Well, we had one segment of one traveler(out of 4) with trip interruption due to a funeral. Because this deceased person did not meet their criteria, it was denied. All $71.00 of it, which was all that was asked for. That is ridiculous and I will not recommend them to anyone.

Thank you for your feedback on your policy. We are very sorry to learn that one of the travelers had to interrupt their trip due to the death of a loved one. We understand that it is never pleasant to receive a denial for reimbursement under the Trip Interruption coverage. However, your reason to interrupt your trip must be specifically stated as a covered reason in the policy.
According to your policy they will cover a death of a non-traveling Family Member. The way that Family Member is defined, according to the certificate, is as follows:
"Family Member means Your or a Traveling Companion's legal or common law spouse, ex-spouse, parent, legal guardian, step-parent, grandparent, parents-in-law, grandchild, natural or adopted child, step-child, children-in-law, brother, sister, step-brother, step-sister, brother-in-law, sister-in-law, aunt, uncle, niece or nephew who reside in the United States, Canada or Mexico."

Thankfully we did not have to use the insurance but was a great peace of mind knowing it was there if needed. Cost was very reasonable and especially like the preexisting condition waiver.
