Although I rated the Nationwide plan as providing the coverage that I wanted at a good price and was completely satisfied, I had no reason to file a claim. Accordingly, my satisfaction with the plan and its coverage is entirely untested.

My itinerary was changed by the airline and we were unable to go at that time. The airline sent a letter of verification which I sent to your company and it was rejected. They refused to reimburse my money. I lost 150 dollars. I will never do business with your company again.

I actually appreciate the opportunity to make this review because we are still pleasantly surprised at the wonderful service and prompt coverage of our claim. We booked this insurance 18 months ahead of our travel, and as one part of our travel changed, it was the Nationwide Company representative herself that made us aware that there was coverage for that change. They then provided clear and explicit instructions for forms and how to submit them and then we received our check in less than 10 days.
We can only think that if we had had a true emergency or other difficulty, Nationwide's assistance and claim response would have been equally quick. Based on our interactions with the representatives and fast claim coverage, we highly recommend this company and will definitely look for travel insurance with them again!

I always use insuremytrip and find the plan that is best suited for each vacation. This policy was perfect for an extended cruise trip and price was much better with better coverage that what the cruiseline offered. A great trip is one where I don't need to use the coverage but love the peace of mind of knowing that it is there when necessary!

I had a trip delay and needed to file a claim. While there's a lot of documentation required, the claim was processed extremely quickly. Nationwide cut the check three business days after I emailed them the documentation and reimbursed all of my stated losses. Make sure you save all your receipts and any evidence of your loss. I wouldn't hesitate to use Nationwide again.

Two months before our trip my wife came down with a very serious and rare bacterial infection that prevented us from taking the trip. When we cancelled with the trip company we knew we would lose more than half the cost per their policies. I have bought trip insurance in the past but never had to use it and was unsure as to how much I would have to fight with the insurance company to collect the money we lost with the trip company. Well to my suprise, when I called Nationwide (and actually talked to a human representative) she was very friendly and walked me through the application process. I submitted all the paper work and called a week later to make sure they got it. I could not believe it when they told me that they had recieved my application and that it had been approved and the check was in the mail.
