Will definitely use this plan again when cruising! About a week or two before we were to leave for our cruise to New Zealand, Australia, Indonesia, and Malaysia, our original itinerary changed twice due to ship mechanical problems. Contacted Nationwide after returning home and filed a claim for the Change of Itinerary that was covered under our policy. Completed the information the same day, and sent the information in. Did not receive any questions from them with the information that was provided, and within about two weeks, received a check for exactly the amount the policy stated under the Terms and Conditions. Very good service!

We had no claims. I would like to see annual policies to cover multiple trips be offerred. We have several trips plan for 2017 and 2018 and feel that an annual policy would save us time and cost.

Really thankful that this plan is available. This is one of the rare options that allows you to purchase at time final cruise payment and still have preexisting conditions and cancel for any reason coverage. We booked our cruise on a great deal about 15 months prior to sailing date, but didn't know if we would be able to go. Buying other insurance plans at the time of booking in order to be covered seemed unwise. This plan gave us everything we were looking for and peace of mind that we had good coverage when we determined we were able to go and made the final payment. Great plan for anyone in similar circumstances.

We did miss the port of Nassau Bahamas due to hurricane damage from Mathew, but the cruise line did reimburse us for port fees and nothing else was covered under the policy that would warrant a claim. Glad we had coverage for the trip as things could have gotten much worse and more expensive.

We had to cancel a cruise after my doctor ordered me to stay home after I was diagnosed with a serious medical condition. I filed a claim for the unreimbursed cost of the cruise, and got a check for more than $37,000 in just 12 days. I also appreciate that I could file all the paperwork (and they want a lot of it) by scanning it all and then emailing them a PDF. I'm dealing with a different insurance company for another cancelled cruise, and everything needs to be sent to them by snail mail, which is obviously slower and more expensive.
