Travel Basic is a budget friendly plan offering comprehensive trip cost protection as well as coverage for other unforeseen events that may arise during your trip. Coverages include Trip Cancellation and Interruption, Baggage Loss or Delay, Travel Delays, and Emergency Medical Evacuation. Coverage on this plan is primary, meaning you don't have to submit claims through other insurance first.

Most providers including Travelex allow insureds to submit claims online. Included on the website, you will find a list of "Frequently Asked Questions" along with the claim forms and a list of the required documents for each type of claim. Many of our customers review and print out this information prior to departing on their trip.
One fact that cannot be stressed enough is to save your receipts and proof of expenses so that you can be accurately reimbursed, whether it be costs due to a delay of travel for hotel or meal, or medical records for emergency treatment received.
