Travel Basic is a budget friendly plan offering comprehensive trip cost protection as well as coverage for other unforeseen events that may arise during your trip. Coverages include Trip Cancellation and Interruption, Baggage Loss or Delay, Travel Delays, and Emergency Medical Evacuation. Coverage on this plan is primary, meaning you don't have to submit claims through other insurance first.

Please keep in mind that insurance is highly regulated. In order to validate coverage, completed claim forms and documentation are an important part of the claim process as it relates to the specific conditions, as listed in the plan purchased. Once all documentation was received, the Claim Representative promptly assessed the claim and payment was released on November 20, 2017 (within 6 days). We have confirmed that both checks were cashed in December 2017.
