Our flight was canceled and we did not go. Makes me question buying insurance when the trip was canceled- maybe there should be a refund option in such cases

Fortunately, we did not have to file a claim, however having the policy provided comfort and insurance in case we did, especially in a foreign country. Always would recommend Insuremytrip.com. Easy to use.

Like nearly everyone else taking cruise vacations, we had to swap around the departure and return dates for our travel insurance. Not a problem - easy as pie to make the change although I learned that I had to call insuremytrip and not the Nationwide or Trawick. Thankfully, we had no need to make any claims so I can't comment on that process.
