Purchasing coverage was easy. I like that I received correspondence about my coverage shortly before my trip. I’ve purchased trip insurance in the past and never received correspondence from the insurance company reviewing the benefits of the policy. Fortunately, I did not need to use the coverage so I cannot comment on the claim service. I would buy coverage again for the peace of mind in purchasing non-refundable airfare and/or hotel rooms.

Filed a claim because the airline cancelled our flight due to weather. Even though I had the email from the airline claiming the weather cancellation, Nationwide is doing everything in its power to make me show more proof that the flight wasn't cancelled. Very poor service from this company and will not pay the claim even though I have the proof. Shame on them for not paying the claim.

I am very happy with my purchase of Nationwide Mutual Insurance. Although I didn’t need to file a claim, I was pleased with the coverage I received, and the price was fair. I felt protected and knew I was well-covered should something unexpected occur.

I had to visit the Medical Center onboard the ship. The charge was approximately $300. I was able to file a claim online while I was still on the ship. Within two weeks I was reimbursed for the total amount. Very pleased with the process to file a claim.

We ended up having our Haiti day changed to Jamaica at the last minute due to political unrest. Our Aruba & Curacao stops were unchanged. I wish it was easier to understand exactly what coverage I purchased ahead of time. I purchased an additional health policy from GeoBlue because I could not understand completely what medical was included in this plan.
