Fortunately I did not need to make a claim. However, it was comforting to know that I was covered through out my trip. This was an 'active vacation' out of the country, therefore doubly important to have complete coverage. Would never travel without Insure My Trip.

AIG Travel Travel Guard Gold
Thankfully we didn't need to use it but I never travel without it. I did need to use it last Feb as I broke my wrist skiing. It was very easy to get everything that I needed taken care of. Customer service was great.

Nationwide Mutual Insurance Essential
The purchase was easy and the customer service representative was able to direct me to the plan that best suited my needs. The whole thing took about 10 minutes and the price was reasonable compared to what I have paid for other plans.

Berkshire Hathaway Travel Protection ExactCare Value
The insurance world is very complex and a bit difficult to understand in many ways. I got this insurance for this recent trip, I had a very unpleasant, traumatic and disturbing situation during the trip, I called the number provided from abroad and the person who answer the phone was very unhelpful, No empathy and no compassion at all. I wish she or someone she cares would be in the same situation I was so she will know how it feels.
