Comprehensive plans offer the most benefits, including Trip Cancellation and Trip Interruption. These plans provide the best protection for the investment you have made in your trip.
Refund Policy is not clear...April insurance does not clarify that only a partial premium refund is available after a certain time frame. Customer service made a false comment regarding that there is no lookover period in NY. It is usually between 10-15 days after doing my own research.

'Cancellation by the Insured:
You have the right to cancel the Policy at any time by giving advance notice to Our Administrator or Us (stating when thereafter the
cancellation shall be effective). We will refund any unearned premium to You within 10 days of cancellation.'

Thank you for your feedback. Pro-rated refunds are provided for policies in which the "Cancellation by the Insured" language is included in the terms and conditions of the policy.
Per our records, the pro-rated refund amount was confirmed as a reply to your cancellation request email, on 5/2/17 at 5:03pm EST. The pro-rated refund was the difference from the paid vs earned premium of the policy used from 2/6/17 (Effective Date of Policy) to 4/30/17 (Cancellation Request). I find it very hard to judge a plan until something happens-then you find out really how good/bad the plan and the company behind it is. I chose the plan but gratefully did not have to use it.

First..thanks to you guys at Insure My Trip for helping me to select my insurance..you are AWESOME.....this plan AXA GOLD even though i did not need to access it cause all went well on my trip TG made me feel comfortable n confident that i was fully covered for any unforeseen problems..tx again!!!

I thought the price was very fair and the company had other policies that increased coverage in areas that other travelers may be more concerned about. I had no major issues for which I needed to file a claim so I can't speak to the company response during the claim process. I thought the policy was fairly priced with excellent coverage.

Knowing that we were covered by this insurance, we felt comfortably safe when there were two unfortunate instances on our cruise. There was an ambulance waiting in two separate ports when we docked and two guests were driven away. Seeing this only confirmed our decision to purchase trip insurance.
