Comprehensive plans offer the most benefits, including Trip Cancellation and Trip Interruption. These plans provide the best protection for the investment you have made in your trip.
As with any travel insurance, one hopes that you won’t need to use it. It gave us a peace of mind in case we needed it to. Wish companies would give discounts to frequent purchasers - loyalty program.

Almost 3 months from the time we filed a claim (worth $6000) we have finally received all our money from Tru Travel. It was a very daunting experience. Everytime there was any communication from us they had 15 business days to respond. They were almost never in touch and the one time they were it was with an email that could not be copied,forwarded or converted to a PDF.Once I answered it the email simply disappeared.I've never seen anything like it.When I called the company about it, they laughed.When I called they stated it was not assigned but someone had sent that email so I didn't understand. We had to go through extreme measures to prove our tickets had been canceled and finally, in two stages they did send all the money. The fact that it was so complicated to work with these people, the fact that they were never personally in touch made it so hard to deal with them. Delay after delay was so difficult. They did pay in full finally and we are glad to be done We would not use them again.

I don't usually purchase travel insurance bu I sure am glad I did this time.I had to cancel my trip about three weeks prior to departure and was able to get all my money back. The processing was quick and complete.

Called John Hancock Claims on Peru trip needed urgent claims info. Long wait on hold that cost me $$ on my International Calling Plan, transferred to another Dept., Representative took my info and said they would call me back. No RSVP!!
