The AIG Travel Travel Guard Gold plan offers mid-level coverage and more options than Travel Guard Basic and Travel Guard Silver, allowing you to customize the plan to best fit your needs. In addition to Trip Cancellation, this plan offers Cancel for Any Reason coverage and a Pre-Existing Conditions Waiver. Children age 17 and under are free when there is at least one covered adult on the plan.

The plan covered my main worries, that we could not take our holiday because of a health issue or a work related reason. This tends to be the same for all our holidays. To that extent, the policy was fine and gave us the reassurance we needed.

The best insurance is insurance you never use! Fortunately we had no problems on this trip, but I would never travel without Trip Insurance; its come in handy in the past on 2 occasions, and provides peace of mind.

I found myself needing trip insurance not long before leaving. InsureMyTrip.com found a policy for me that would cover my needs, for a nice low price. I ended up not needing to file a claim - meaning that I was able to enjoy my trip completely worry free, knowing that I was covered if anything happened .. but nothing did! Best possible scenario!!!
