I travel several 2 week trips per year, planning way ahead! Since I am over 80 years old, it is necessary to insure against some health issue that may come up. It is costly at my age so appreciate the format that "Insure My Trip" lets me use to determine who to cover me each time. This trip C + F Travel had the best choice for what I wanted.

We were not able to get our money back on the air as they siad what was going on in barcelona was not terrorism. The airport was closed ,53 people were injured and there were problems all over the city. American Air finally refunded my money. The insurance was useless. We cancelled our trip.

Fortunately I did not need to make a claim. However, it was comforting to know that I was covered through out my trip. This was an 'active vacation' out of the country, therefore doubly important to have complete coverage. Would never travel without Insure My Trip.

Unfortunately I had a serious bike accident and had to cancel my trip. I filed the claim and provided the necessary documents and the claim was processed within 2 weeks. Thank goodness for trip insurance!

I was un abled to make the trip because I had a stroke. I did not proceed to make a claim on the insurance because the insurance company had too many hoops to jump through which I could not achieve due to my limited mobility. I was unable to gather the necessary documents to submit to the insurance company.

I felt that the representatives on the phone were not helpful at all. I had to call several times and finally sent a complaint via email to customer support before I got my claim approved. I felt they hassled me unnecessarily on what was clearly a viable claim and they kept requesting more and more info from our doctors. I'm lucky my doctors were accommodating to their requests. I felt the rep started with "I don't believe this claim" and worked backwards to keep us from being approved; hoping we would give up. I won't use this company again even though we travel often.

Customer Advocates are representatives assigned to assist customers who experience issues after filing a claim.
