We were not dissatisfied with the plan nor were we satisfied. Not possible to assign a rating to satisfaction as we did not have to use the service. The cost seems relatively high and I do wish there was a clause for "pet issues" So we do not have to determine whether to leave a dying pet or lose a large amount of money. Thank you for asking.

Worst company for travel insurance as they denied my legitimate trip interruption. Dont bother waste you money buying insurance from them make sure u understand properly before u waste your good money some of these companies sell insurance u will find out when u make a claim u get ZERO.They will never tell the truth till u make a claim my flight was delayed over 18 hours i had buy new tickets to catch my cruise i was told to make a claim after my return made the claim collected ZERO.Huge disappointment.They lie and collect money from u selling bad products.very difficult know and understand these plans unless you are lawyer and be able to take them to the court spending more mone they will have better lawyers than the one u can afford they know that.They cheat people.

We also offer a free look back period with all of our plans to allow customers to cancel their policies within a designated period as long as they haven't already left on their trip or filed a claim. The plan you purchased can provide coverage for a variety of different expenses if your flight is delayed. Our Travel Delay coverage can provide reimbursement for certain out-of-pocket expenses you might incur while delayed for six hours or more, such as lodging, meals and local transportation. However, in order for our Trip Interruption coverage to provide reimbursement for unused, prepaid non-refundable expenses your flight delay must result from either adverse weather, mechanical breakdown of the aircraft, or an organized labor strike. My wife required hospitalization and medical repatriation from the Caribbean. The service provided to arrange transportation home was first rate and they were in contact with us daily until we arrived home.
A significant part of the cost incurred is on a reimbursement basis (the hospital required upfront payment for all medical expenses) and I've just begun the process to be reimbursed for that, so I can't yet comment on the speed and completeness of the reimbursement.

After many months we finally have received all payments due from CSA. The problem didn't lie with CSA but with my wife's primary health insurer. The travel insurance is secondary so we had to submit claims through her health insurance and receive EOBs showing what the primary insurance paid before CSA would reimburse for the rest of the expenses. The primary insurer asked for additional documentation about a month after receiving the claim and then apparently misplaced my response for several months until I called to ask what was going on. The person I spoke to found the paperwork quickly and did whatever was needed to process the claim. When I finally had all the payment from the primary insurer I submitted the EOBs to CSA and they quickly and completely paid what my wife's medical insurance didn't cover.

There was one element of the claims experience where I wasn't completely satisfied with CSA's resolution of the claim. We were on a cruise when my wife got sick and we had to leave the ship at that time. The stated Trip Interruption coverage said they would reimburse either to get me home or to rejoin the originally scheduled trip (my wife's medical evacuation was paid up front by CSA). Since most of our luggage was still on the ship and our car was at the port in New York City, I met the ship when it arrived in New York to retrieve the luggage and car. CSA wouldn't reimburse my train ticket to New York since I had gone home (with my wife) to Pennsylvania before heading to New York. They claimed my trip ended at that point even though I had to meet the ship in New York (had to continue my trip from that point) in order to retrieve my luggage and car. In the grand scheme the amount involved wasn't large ($130 or so) so after the claims agent's supervisor reiterated their rejection of that part of the claim I didn't pursue the matter further.

But overall I was satisfied with the resolution of the other elements of the claim and the speed with which it was completed. I've purchased the same policy for our upcoming trip this holiday season.

Although the fine print of the policy would eliminate my claim, I must emphasize that the coverage such as Trip Delays are very limited and failed to pay for late receipt of luggage by the airline during transfer and clearance through customs. This cost us over $300 and was excluded by the coverage. One previous claim was also not paid by CSA and this makes me question their real concern for fair coverage of the client versus their desire for greater profit as a company. I WOULD STRONGLY RECOMMEND YOU TRY TO READ AND UNDERSTAND EVERY WORD OF THE COVERAGE BEFORE ENROLLING.

Unfortunately, the plan you purchased is not able to provide coverage for every event that might cause your trip to be interrupted or delayed, though it does include approximately 20 different covered events that can qualify for Trip Interruption coverage and approximately 10 different covered events that can qualify for Travel Delay coverage (depending on your state of residence). We understand your trip was delayed due to receiving your luggage late in your connecting city. Unfortunately this is not a covered reason for either coverage. CSA has been my choice for travel insurance for the past few trips; based upon price and coverage. I cannot rate claim processing since I've not needed to make any. I do know individuals who have made claims and found the process to be straightforward.

The claims representative was Outstanding. I liked your plan that we purchased. I did not read it in detail as to coverage and exclusions. I was not aware that different air fare is not covered due to interruption of a trip due to injury. For example we flew to Croatia using Economy fare. Because of severe injury to my wife's shoulder, we flew back to US using Business class as she had to lay flat. We got reimbursed for the Economy value fare-almost $3,000 vs almost $8,000.

I still liked your policy and have recommended you to our friends who also visited Croatia. Fortunately they did not have to file claim but gave them a peace of mind.
