I did not have a claim to file, but I chose this plan based on claim handling rating from other users before I went on my trip. The price was reasonable too. If I bought insurance with my cruise ticket, it would have been much more expensive for the same plan.

CSA Travel Protection received our claim on Dec. 8th
of 2011. We received a claim payment on 1-23-12.
I feel the service for our Trip Interruption claim was
very slow.

We did have a bag delayed. It was never put on the plane in our departure city. It ended up arriving at our hotel later that evening, fortunately we had a pre-night in FLL before our cruise. Didn't have to use the lost or delayed luggage benefit, but we were very glad we had the coverage!

I guess you never know how good a policy is till you file a claim. I had to have minor surgery while on the cruise part of our trip. Got home and sent in a claim with all requested and required forms and documentation. Re-embursement was slow but paid in full. We would use CSA again.

I understood from your website that it was supposed to be a 2 week turnaround to settle. My claim took 2 months to settle after I mailed it in. And there was no contact from your company (CSA Travel Protection) to tell me the claim was received and was being processed. I had to call and find if it had even been received.
