I, fortunately, didn't need to use the insurance on this trip, so I don't know how effective it would have been if I had to submit a claim, which is the really true test...coverage seemed good for the price

Coverage seems awfully expensive for such a minor exposure. Reminds me of accident coverage we use to get for flying on a plane and then the credit card carriers started to give it away for free because the exposure was so small. Would love to see the loss ratios for this type of coverage.

I suppose one never knows how good trip insurance is until you actually use it. We did not need to use our insurance, and are very thankful for that. We found that this insurance was easy to purchase, it seemed to cover all the important points of our travel, and we would probably purchase the same plan again for our next travel adventure.

I worked with the very helpful customer service agents at InsureMyTrip.com for my last 2 trips and interestingly for both times, the plan best suited for me turned out to be InsureAssist TravCan Premier. I have not had to make any claims yet.

My friend who was scheduled to go on my trip with me was unable to go. Fortunately when we booked the trip I insisted she also get InsureAssist coverage.. She did and had to file a claim which I am glad to learn was covered by you without a lot of hassle. It made me feel great

The assistant who helped me select the appropriate plan was very helpful. He explained the terms of the plan and made my selection easier. He listened to my needs and made excellent suggestions. Coverage was significantly less expensive than the tour company's quote. We were threatened by Typhoon Usagi in Hong Kong but fortunately were able to leave as scheduled so did not need trip interruption coverage.
