My daughter bought this insurance plan for me. I agree with her assessment. I bought insurance for my trip and thankfully did not have to use the benefits. I cannot comment on how good of a policy this was or about customer service as I did not have to use the benefits. I was glad to have coverage and peace of mind that should I run into trouble I would be insured.

Have used InsureMyTrip several times and I like the ability to pick the coverage I want, at the rate provided. I work a great deal with insurance, and find that one should really consider travel insurance for their trips. Medicare does not cover care while out of the US and most commercial plans greatly reduce or negate coverage once out of the US. Thank you, as I find it very helpful and don't book with cruise lines as I do better on your site with coverages and choice.

We can appreciate your comments. However, Baggage Delay coverage is available when your luggage is delayed on your outward journey. Reimbursement is available up to the specified limit if you purchase necessary personal effects while you wait for your bags to arrive. It is not a benefit that applies when you are returning home and or if you do not provide receipts for the articles you purchased.
I fell and broke my ankle on the second day of my trip to Norway. I was treated by medical personnel both on the cruise ship and at a local hospital. I submitted the bills and had a reply from them within five days that most of my claimed expenses would be covered. I was impressed with the company's prompt responsiveness.
