This plan really came through for me 5 years ago when my elderly mother had a stroke right before I was set to sail on a European cruise. After an easy verification process from her physician about her condition, the plan paid without delay in full. First of all, Thank God we did not have to use this insurance! Can't say if we had if it was great insurance or not, but it did have all the coverages we were looking for at a great price.

The assurance you get from knowing that your trip is covered if anything goes wrong - sickness, accidents, etc. - is well worth the cost of the trip insurance. One lady broke her arm while boarding the ship and she missed the cruise. We saw another man who had fallen and was taken off on a stretcher. Trip insurance is a good thing to have.
