For people traveling outside their home country but not visiting the United States, the Seven Corners Liaison Travel Basic plan offers medical coverage and emergency services on a trip up to 364 days in length. Options include a medical limit up to $5,000,000, a variable deductible, and hazardous activity coverage. This plan does have a pre-existing condition lookback period of 3 years.

InsureMyTrip recommends that you use the date that you leave home as your Departure Date and the date that you return home as your Return Date when quoting your policy. We call it “door to door†coverage.
You may have inadvertently entered the date on which your return flight actually left Argentina as your Return Date so that you did not have coverage for the overnight flight to New York. Since your Seven Corners policy certificate states that your coverage “will end of the earliest of...The date the Plan Participant returns to his or her Home Country or The date shown on the Evidence of Coverage or ID card issued by the Company...â€, your plan ended on the date you left Argentina and not on the date that you arrived in New York. With this particular plan, there is an option to extend the policy during the trip, but an additional premium would have been required.
In the future, if you need assistance when purchasing the policy, please call us at 800-487-4722. Once again, thank you for your feedback.
