The year before when I purchased a plan we got some emails telling us about coverage, how to file a claim including contact numbers and other useful stuff. After this plan was purchased, we didn't hear anything after the premium was collected.

This confirmation includes the purchase details, contact information, and schedule of benefits. I wish the cost were lower, but.............that being said..................there is comfort it knowing that at 80 years old, I can still travel . As careful as I try to be, things can happen. I would not travel out of the USA without it . I have never had to use it...................but then.................I do not want to.

Unfortunately we had to cancel our trip 1 week prior to departure due to injury. C&F was very easy to work with and received a speed response and check. Less than 3 weeks from filing to approval. Claims, followups and progress checks can be done on-line. We will use C&F again on our next trip.

We were forced to cancel our cruise 8 days before we were scheduled to depart, as I needed surgery for a life-threatening condition. I submitted the claim for the full amount of the cruise with full documentation about a week after the cancellation. Today, 15 days later, I received checks from Nationwide for the full amount of my claim. There were no questions, and I am still stunned by the extraordinarily rapid and positive response from Nationwide. I was also blessed to have successful surgery.
I have read hundreds of trip insurance reviews on your site saying how customers were pleased with the plan and glad they did not need to use it. I have purchased trip insurance many times and said the same thing in my reviews. This time, I needed the insurance, and I couldn't imagine better service. Nationwide really is "on your side". I can't recommend this insurance more highly.

We had to cancel the trip when my wife was diagnosed with Stage III breast cancer. After a small glitch we were contacted by their customer support team which cleared the way to a full resolution. We're happy campers now. Great customer support team - thanks!
